I have to give them an example or walk them through it.

rmariemuniz@hotmail.comRachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13692756053381424165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7699906712318762342.post-74569327574287590992013-01-24T20:16:13.453-08:002013-01-24T20:16:13.453-08:00Hi Melissa,

Cute packs! I love how you included penguins with valentine's - perfect match!
Vicky
Traditions, Laughter and Happily Ever Aftervicky1970https://www.blogger.com/profile/09786884128105747624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7699906712318762342.post-70363974205877752682013-01-23T16:22:51.276-08:002013-01-23T16:22:51.276-08:00Singapore Math - huh? I always wonder if it the language that trips them up - maybe they can't follow the way we say it. It's hard to find new ways of teaching something and explaining it, but I guess the repeated exposure and practice, practice, practice does the trick.

I appreciate you taking the time to comment :)

MelissaMelissa Machanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05590583126411470969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7699906712318762342.post-33320187038573786522013-01-23T16:18:33.678-08:002013-01-23T16:18:33.678-08:00Thanks for the support Wendy! I just keep chugging away and try to create activities that will help them turn the corner. It's all we can do -right :)

Thanks for stopping by!
MelissaMelissa Machanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05590583126411470969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7699906712318762342.post-69180661334391503702013-01-23T00:01:17.954-08:002013-01-23T00:01:17.954-08:00Mine is struggling with comparing numbers (i.e. 7 ...Mine is struggling with comparing numbers (i.e. 7 is 1 more than 6; 7 is 1 less than 8) - we use Singapore Math so my kids need more practice with this!

cheriemae@gmail.comCheriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16816187200832992554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7699906712318762342.post-38865701035508353832013-01-22T19:51:38.389-08:002013-01-22T19:51:38.389-08:00Adorable!
